HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DARLING SISTER!!!! I loved growing up with you and thinking back through our life together makes me laugh. One of my favorite memories is living in North Carolina and riding our bikes pass the Moretti's and wiping our brows and looking really sweaty in hopes that they would see us and invite us down for a swim. hah!
I hope you have a wonderful birthday. You are still my favorite person to play Barbie's with.
Elizabeth sent me some pictures of her birthday quilt. I think it looks a little better in person, but it is so hard to photograph quilts and jewelry. I wish I were a professional and had fabulous cameras. Oh well, you get the point!
Here is the front of the quilt. They are all pink and green- Lee even picked out a few of the cotton materials. I wish you could see that the binding is a really sweet pink and green paisley pattern.
Here is the back of the quilt
It is a large lap quilt and is very warm to snuggle up under. I took a nap under it before Elizabeth got it. hah! Just to test it out...of course!
Charlie is getting ready for his "sleep away camp" at Sheila's house. We have been training him day and night! He has finally figured out where he belongs in our house and is becoming just a perfect little pal. I love that he is so excited to see us when we get home and follows us around for the rest of the evening. He really loves being with his "pack" and will even walk into the bathroom after us and just relax on the ground while we brush our teeth or put make up on (no, Erik doesn't do that).
He has started responding well to correction by ignoring him. He eventually gets bored of trying to get your attention with play biting and barking and will plop down on the floor and wait there patiently for you to acknowledge him. There have been no accidents in the house for a few weeks now! YAY!
Alrighty, I am off to work. I love working 5 minutes from home- my commute is a breeze!
