The Blizzard of 2009

Here in VA we've had close to 30 inches this past weekend. Pretty amazing! We hunkered down and spent it in front of the fire and watching fun Christmas movies. Karl enjoyed much of the weekend in his newly acquired swing. It's pretty fantastic. After 10 minutes of rocking (when tired and full) he falls fast asleep.

When the snow started falling Karl contemplated making a snowman, but decided it made more sense to wear one on his head instead.


While Daddy shoveled snow and Mom made lunch; Karl hung out with his little friends.
Charlie, of course, enjoyed the snow the most. We let him off leash at the height of the storm and he went wild!

Sunday arrived and the streets were plowed, so Dad wrapped up our little guy and let me head off to the mall!
