Crafting

My sister and I wanted to let you know that my crafts by claire blog has been erased and now a joint blog: www.calmelm.blogspot.com has taken its place. CALM- me and ELM- Elizabeth is up and running, so visit the website if you want to keep up with us!

Per the request of my mother in law I am putting up a new picture of Karl.

He hasn't quite figured out how to use the tricycle, but loves sitting on it and eating a snack. Charlie stands on the alert for any crumbs that might fall his way. Smart dog. This morning he got 1/2 a banana and some corn flakes.

My little secret.

I have always commented that I am my father's daughter in many ways, but lately I have come to realize that I share many attributes of my mother. Most recently, I have discovered I share a love of an author who writes romance novels. It's not something I am proud of...especially since the author we love, Betty Neels, is utterly wholesome. The most racy it gets is a kiss and a marriage proposal. It's pretty pathetic, but I can't stop reading them!

You may be wondering why I am writing this post. It's mainly to apologize to my mother for all the years in which Elizabeth and I made fun of her for reading old lady books that weren't even racy. I'm sorry. You are right; they are great!
