Lately Karl has been very interested in feeding himself. Yesterday, he ended up with yogurt and granola all over his face. The camera wasn't around to capture that mess, but we did manage to get some pictures of his messiness while eating some rice and beans. Rice & beans is a meal we can always guarantee that Karl will eat a ton of. I'm always surprised by how much he loves beans.
I feel like he looks so big in these pictures, especially compared to the photo at the top of our Team Sax blog.

N loves rice and beans too! Well, mostly she loves beans. But I never fail to be amazed when she eats them. I mean they're just beans, not cupcakes!
you haven't seen messy until you see Jakob eat. He needs a full clothing change and wipe down after every meal. He refuses to keep a bib on. Glad he like beans. Max used to eat them by the can. Jakob hasn't developed a fondness for them quite yet.
