Karl is doing well in his 10th week of life. He is getting bigger each day and learning new things. He really likes playing with Dad when he makes funny sounds and faces. Just this afternoon Karl was sitting in his bouncy seat talking away at the toys hanging above his head. I can tell it is just a matter of time before he is able to grab them. He is already batting at them and is slowly mastering the movements so touching each one is more deliberate. Erik imagines that some day we'll hear a laugh and look over to find Karl grabbing one of his toy friends.
In family news Erik is still handsome as anything and is a wonderful father. Each day he comes home ready to see his little son and spend time with his wife. As for me I am still working out with my trainer each week and have recently signed up to run a marathon with two of my sorority sisters. It will be next October in Maine- Erik and Karl will be coming and I am hoping to convince my darling sister Elizabeth to come too.
Speaking of Elizabeth... I can't wait for CHRISTMAS!!! Every year we sit at the base of the tree and organize all the many presents into sections for each family member. Christmas eve brings a scrabble match in front of the fireplace and prep for the next days festivities. What a great holiday :)

Great pics! We do the organize-presents-by-family-member thing too :)
